video footage of one man`s struggle aboard a small kite boat, the little murka, during a hurricane has surfaced in ireland. sailor dom mee attempted to sail the little murka from canada to england in the summer of 2005 and ran into what was one of the worst hurricanes recorded in the north atlantic. his 14 foot boat capsized a number of times and the cabin filled with water. dom mee survived the ordeal with the little murka but while he was struggling against the waves in the middle of the ocean, he wasn`t sure he would. the video that surfaced this week captures him in those days, man`s most vulnerable moment. facing death directly in the eye, dom mee`s story of survival is a testament to the resiliency of man.
