for all those who missed this week’s episode of south park, here’s a little summary of the continuing story of chef.
chef’s back from his adventures with the super adventure club and seems strangely attracted to little children. apparently he’s been brainwashed to want to sodomize the boys.
the voice of chef was still isaac hayes, though. the south park team did some smart audio doctoring to make him sound like a pedophile, repeatedly making him sing “i wanna make love to you…children!”.
the children try to rescue him by deprogramming him to get him away from the super adventure club, a club with some subtle similarities to scientology. in the end, the boys fail miserably, and chef is cruelly burned, falls down a ravine, gets staked and then ripped apart by wild animals. trey parker and matt stone have clearly mastered the art of revenge.
the super adventure club however, secretly manages to rescue chef and turn him into some sort of darth chef, allowing for a significant voice change in episodes to come.
most memorable are kyle’s words at chef’s memorial service, words clearly directed at former chef voice isaac hayes.
“a lot of us don’t agree with the choices chef has made the past few days. some of us feel hurt and confused that he seemed to turn his back on us … so you see, we shouldn't be mad at chef for leaving us, we should be mad at that fruity little club for scrambling his brains…”

tonight’s south park episode is called the return of the chef. it dispels the rumors that chef would be axed after isaac hayes, who gave his voice to chef for almost ten years, left last week.
hayes left south park last week, saying the show was insensitive to "personal spiritual beliefs".
"there is a place in this world for satire but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry toward religious beliefs begins," he said.
matt stone said: "in 10 years and over 150 episodes of south park, isaac never had a problem with the show making fun of christians, muslims, mormons or jews. he got a sudden case of religious sensitivity when it was his religion featured on the show."
hayes is released from his contract and has the best wishes of the south park team.
in tonight’s episode the town is jolted out of a case of the doldrums when chef suddenly reappears. while stan, kyle, kenny and cartman are thrilled to have their old friend back, they notice that something about chef seems different. when chef’s strange behavior starts getting him in trouble, the boys pull out all the stops to save him.

fl - boca raton — one too many orders for mozzarella caprese was apparently the breaking point for a boca raton chef who threatened to shoot the waitress who placed the order, according to police. while waiting tables at pizza time restaurant on southwest second avenue on wednesday afternoon, cathy vultaggio hung a ticket for the popular salad of the fresh cheese and tomatoes drizzled with olive oil and basil. chef and manager mark decraepeo got upset and said if he received one more ticket for mozzarella caprese, "i swear to god i'll shoot you in the forehead," according to a boca raton police report. vultaggio and co-worker kristee como told police that decraepeo then slammed a black gun inside a holster on the counter top. "now you see i'm [expletive] serious. i'll put a bullet right in your forehead," he hollered, according to the women. a few hours later the women phoned police to report the incident. decraepeo allegedly told authorities that he had a gun but could not recall what he said to the women earlier that day. the 51-year-old coral springs resident was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with intent to commit a felony and taken to the palm beach county jail. bail was set at $50,000. a woman who answered the phone at pizza time this morning said no one there wanted to discuss the incident. source
