a newly wed couple are moving into their new house. as they are unpacking the husband brings a box in and tells his wife "i am going to put this in the closet and i want you to promise me never to look inside it", very suspiciously the wife agrees and allows her husband to store the box in the closet. after 50 years of marriage the wife lets her curiousity get the best of her and decides that whatever is in that box can't be all that bad anymore. she opens the closet and looks inside the box to find 6 beer bottles and a few hundred dollars in change. puzzled by what is in the box she decides to question her husband about the contents when they go out for dinner later that evening. during dinner the wife looks up at her husband and says "i took a look in your box and was wondering why 6 beer bottles needed to be such a secret?". regretfully the husband answers "before we were married i made the mistake of cheating on you, and every time i did, i put a beer bottle in that box". the wife isn't so bothered by her husband cheating on her only six times and of course this was 50 years ago now and not such a big deal. the wife then continues to question her husband about the large amount of change she found and he answers "well... everytime i filled up that box, i would take the bottles in to get the refund".
tampa - wikler moran-mora texted his wife to say he had been kidnapped and wouldn't be let go until he gave his captors money. his worried wife called law enforcement. he texted her again, saying, "don't call, take it easy, they said they will let me go," and "everything is alright, i'll be home soon," a hillsborough county sheriff's office report states. after a full-scale manhunt, deputies tracked him down. turns out, it was a hoax – moran-mora faked his kidnapping so he could cheat on his wife, sheriff's spokesman j.d. callaway said. the incident began shortly after midnight wednesday. about 6 a.m. wednesday, moran-mora, 38, of tampa, was arrested and charged with giving a false report to law enforcement. he has been released on $500 bail. twenty deputies — including canine units — searched for moran-mora on wednesday morning. deputies traced moran-mora through his cell phone and found him at a 7-eleven on west waters avenue. he told deputies he is a church elder for a seventh day adventist church on nebraska avenue and had sent his wife the texts even though he had never been in danger. moran-mora declined to comment today other than to say the situation with his wife has been resolved. his wife said she had nothing to do with what happened but confirmed she received text messages from him. callaway said the search cost $4,000. "i've never seen violence and ugliness like that," a reporter at the games told xinhua. the nationality games have been held eight times in yunnan province, where 25 of the country's 56 ethnic minorities live. "the tenet of the games is to develop the minorities' characteristic sports, build up their health and increase national unity," ren muzhen, the chief organizer, told xinhua. coaches blamed the unruly scenes on the pressures of having career advancement linked to results.
