man brutally murders six family members

jesse dee wise, 21, brutally killed six of his family members last weekend. among the dead were his grandmother and his 5-year-old cousin. his grandfather was in new york at the time of the killings.

police say that wise confessed to killing the six. apparently, three of the victims were strangled, three were bludgeoned to death with a blunt object.

grandfather wise was unable to contact his family while he was in new york. alarmed, he asked another grandson to check on his family. the 24-year-old adams contacted the police, and found his aunt and young cousin lying dead in the house.

further investigation by the police officers on the scene revealed four more bodies in the basement.

investigators found blood, hair, bone fragments and a hammer in the upstairs halls and bedrooms. they also found two 17-inch pieces of metal that looked like homemade clubs. blankets and sheets had been removed from the beds. wise used the blankets to wrap his dead family member in and subsequently dumped them in the basement.

wise, an orphan raised by his grandparents, apparently had numerous run-ins with the law. although his grandfather, a volunteer for the federation of black cowboys, an organization that introduces inner-city children to horses and black history, did speak with the young man, he said he did not give him a reason as to why he killed his family.

“two weeks ago he told a friend he hated his family. he said he wanted to kill them, but nobody took that seriously,” a friend told the daily news of new york.
