another great example of how much better classic u2 is over modern u2.
kevin godley directed music video for the second song from u2's 1991 album achtung baby, which utilized the artem camera rig effect.
i had seen this uploaded, however the video is very much different. the other one is people walking around in london, while this video, i feel is quite a bit better. i'd rather see the artist, than feel like some kind of stalker voyeur. on a side note, i think i still like the u2 version better, but i like this song a lot as well.
amazing footage of james may riding in u2 spy plane at a very high altitude. video is a bit long.
cash makes a u2 song actually good
u2 and green day - the saints are coming
u2 - smile from the new album u218
clip of scenes from anime show to the tune of u2's classic rock song.
at a u2 concert in halifax, nova scotia, bono asks the audience for some quiet. then, in the silence, he starts to slowly clap his hands. he says into the microphone, in a deep solemn voice... "just for a moment, think outside yourself... outside this arena... everytime i clap my hands, a child in africa dies." a loud newfy voice from near the front pierces the moment... "well, ya stupid arse, stop yer fockin' clappin', den!"
this is the performance the two bands did in new orleans, including the saints are coming and a retooled beautiful day. if anyone has the non-live version of the saints in mp3. can you please let me know where i can get it.
