watch the whole video! the canadian government sponsors the annual hunt for harp seals even though it was banned in the 1980s. the sick part of this hunt is that defenseless newborn harp seals are killed by striking them in the head with a bat. one fisherman can be seen going on to the next kill when the previous one is not even dead. another fisherman can be seen skinning one when it still alive. save the seals!
