Isn`t removing a country`s tv station and then replacing it with your own propoganda against the geneva convention?

13 dead Israelis versus between 600 (now the seemingly revised count) and 1300 (The original Hamas claim) dead Palestinians.

It seems this conflict will continue to be one-sided and Israel and the US will continue to wonder why the Arab and Muslim world hate them when it`s plainly obvious why.

As I thought :

"Amnesty says the US attacks on Iraq’s state television station might be in breach of the Geneva convention, because the broadcaster is not a military target.

Amnesty International said that the bombing could be a breach of the
Geneva Conventions. “The bombing of a television station, simply because
it is being used for the purposes of propaganda, cannot be condoned. It
is a civilian object, and thus protected under international
humanitarian law,” it said.

“To justify such an attack, coalition forces would have to show that the
TV station was being used for military purposes, and that the attack
properly balanced the concrete and direct military advantage anticipated
with the incidental risk to civilian life”, Claudio Cordone, Amnesty’s
director for international law, added."

So, If this was against the Geneva Convention then surely the Israelis did exactly the same thing so that should also have contravened the convention leaving Israel open to prosecution by the international courts.

We are nearing the end of the first decade of the 21st Century, if we are gonna keep killing each other you`d think we`d at least have proper futuristic laser guns and photon cannons, humanity what a dissapointment.

Isn`t it strange that of the people killed, 25% were children, meanwhile 50% were civilians.... meaning 50% of the civilians killed were children. Unless Israel fly around looking for children to kill or 50% of palestinians were children, there is no way it happened by chance. It is obvious that Hama`s strategy is to put children into harms way and sacrifice them for propaganda uses.

I feel terribly sorry for the family that lost their loved ones, but if you place all the blame on Israel, your playing right into Hamas`s hands.

I`m not saying Israel is guilt free, just keep in mind civilians were used as tools in this war and if anyone play a role in a war its all fair game.

Also I can`t think of a war where civilians casualties were such a media focus. Countless war in Africa had very few coverage on civilian casualties, so is the Iraq/Afgan war, Vietnam war, etc etc...
