And don't forget the americans couldn't manage to scratch japan until a german (albert einstein) and his german partner helped them by creating the atomic bomb. And by that time Germany had already left the war.

The first American bombs fell on Japan on 18 April 1942 and kept falling until Hiroshima on 8 August 1945; by spring of 1945 the US was dropping 115,000 tons of ordinance on Japan a month, with almost complete immunity from Japan's decimated air force and feeble anti aircraft battery’s. Specifically the March 9th fire raid of Tokyo dropped 1,700 tons of bombs wiche destroyed around 41 km² of the city and over 100,000 people were killed, similar raids were carried out on Nagoya, Osaka, and Kobe. So yea Japan was getting is ass handed to them long before the atomic bombs.

Vega... of course they were able to scratch Japan until the bomb. In Okinawa (not sure if thats spelt correctly) they lost hundreds of thousands of men because the Japanese would fight till every last one of them were dead. The only reason they dropped the bomb was because they estimated around 1 million soldiers would die in the takeover of Japan.

I apologize for the quality, but the original was in .mp4 format which isn't compatible with our site YET. I did a quick convert to WMV - lucky it even worked as well as it did.

Cios, you should know that that is just a really weak theory that tries to defend why the Japanese were bombed. Why not just nuke a few islands with no one on it instead of completely oblitering a city filled with citizens? It's just sad that so many people had to die in this war and that most Americans/Canadians, etc...don't know/want to admit that we did some bad stuff in terms of interning Japanese citizens. Man, WWII was one of humanities darkest hours and I hope and pray we never see a war on that scale ever again...
Propaganda sucks...it's sad that there are plenty of rednecks who think Japanese people are evil, 60 years later...

It's a reverse brainwashing. The people who produced this had multiple goals: to make Americas want to work 'to win the war' (i.e. to fight fire with fire), to buy war bonds like the Japanese, to accept the fact that a major attack (i.e. nuclear bomb) was needed to break the spirit of the Japanese because they were not being affected by traditional bombing, and many other things. So the people whose intelligence that is being insulted are the American viewers. Unfortunately, their intelligence was not being underestimated - because this stuff did its job. I don't like war and I think there is no humane way to kill someone in war - but bless those people who died on all sides, because mankind is far from perfect. I always figured there were more cars and bright lights in Tokyo.
