BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. - Police say a western Pennsylvania man told them he kicked his girlfriend's puppy to death because he was upset that the pit bull wouldn't behave before the start of the Pittsburgh Steelers game.

ASHVILLE, N.C., -- A 77-year-old North Carolina eye doctor is in hot water with the state Medical Board after a patient said he called her fat.

GIBSON, La. — A real estate agent showing a house got to the basement and found about 100 human bones in a corner.
James Kenny, a forensic investigator with the Terrebonne Parish Coroner's Office, says the bones found Saturday were so old that dirt had saturated the marrow inside them.
He says they probably are remains of Native Americans buried long before the house was built.

Bolivian police managed to track down a man wanted for murder from what was described as the world's worst photo-fit.
A taxi driver, named in Bolivian media as Rafael Vargas, was murdered in what police said was either a drugs-related hit or a crime of passion. In March, police found his body, which had been stabbed 11 times before being burnt, reports the Daily Telegraph.
